Gabrielle and Johan opened Chabada in the Vieux-Lille at the end of June 2026. The layout does something specific to an evening: you eat upstairs, in a small room, and then you come back down, and the ground floor turns into a bar you dance in. Everyone who was scattered across the upstairs tables ends up in the same room afterwards, which almost never happens in a restaurant. Lunch is a 16€ plat du jour, the terrace catches the end of the day on rue de Gand, and the place stays open until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Being two months old is an argument in itself: there are no regulars yet, so there's no group here you'd be interrupting.
