BB, la Guinguette du Cours St-So
happners' hot spots
Behind the Gare Saint-Sauveur, BB takes over the wasteland from spring to autumn: a bus-bar, the homemade Bob fry shack, transats, pétanque and mölkky with gear lent for free, and the thing that changes everything, ten shared barbecues where you bring your food and they hand you the tongs and firelighters. No table booking, so you end up sharing a grill with the people next to you, playing a round of pétanque while it cooks, and staying for the DJ set if the evening takes. Free entry, weekly programme, no pressure.

We were out of charcoal, the next grill had too much.
We'd brought sausages and no charcoal. The people at the barbecue next to us had the opposite problem. We pooled everything, ate together, then lost a game of pétanque to them. We stayed for the DJ set.
