At happn, we know that every interaction can have its grey areas. And sometimes, setting boundaries or asking for help becomes necessary. That’s why we’ve created a set of simple, accessible, and confidential resources you can use at any time.
From the app: take action independently
Block a profile
Want to end a conversation? You can block someone at any time. Once blocked, they won’t be able to contact you or see your profile anymore. This can be helpful in cases of inappropriate behavior, persistent messages, or simply if you no longer want to continue the exchange.
No explanation is needed — blocking someone is a discreet way to affirm your comfort and boundaries. Don’t worry: the person will never be notified of your action.
To block a user, simply:
go to the bottom section of their profile and tap “Report and block”,
or open the conversation and tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Report inappropriate behavior
If you’ve felt uncomfortable, shocked, or pressured, don’t hesitate to report the behavior. Reporting is a key tool to help keep happn a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone.
You can report things like inappropriate messages, harassment, repeated pressure, or any other unacceptable behavior. Every report is taken seriously by our moderation team, specially trained to handle these situations with care and attention.
You can report someone:
directly from the conversation,
or from their profile (via the three dots in the top right corner).
Reporting also means helping protect others.
Contact our team
Have a question? A doubt? Need personal support? Our team is available 24/7.
You can reach out anytime through the in-app help center or by email. Whether you want to ask something, talk about a conversation, or get support, every message is handled with care. We’re committed to answering quickly — always with kindness, understanding, and zero judgment.

Outside the app: external support available
Sometimes it’s necessary — or simply comforting — to talk to someone outside the app. There are trustworthy, caring, and free organizations that can listen, support, and guide you.
