On October 10, Porto Alegre's Official Oktoberfest turns the Historic Center into one big walk with draft beer, music, German culture and, if everything goes well, your crush by your side. The route passes Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, Viaduto Otávio Rocha, Praça da Alfândega and other city landmarks, with parades, brass bands, traditional food and more than 150 beer taps. In other words, there are plenty of flavors to try. And the love stories? That part is up to you. Or rather, up to the two of you. On this outing no one stays in the same place for very long. And between one stop and the next, a toast here, a glance there, walking through the city center can become a lot more interesting.
