The play on the name explains the house's idea. Nip stands for "Not in Napoli". In other words, not every dish has to come out exactly like the one born in Italy. Instead of following recipes to the letter, the kitchen bets on adaptations or creations that often use Brazilian ingredients. The most fun way to get to know the menu is to put pastas, pizzas and meats in the middle of the table and start sharing forkfuls — and good moments. The restaurant is the youngest venture of chef Ian Baiocchi and has a cosier, more relaxed feel than the group's other addresses, one of the most relevant names on the city's food scene.
