On rue des Bateliers, in the Krutenau district, La Kulture was one of the landmarks of Strasbourg nightlife before it closed and then reopened after lengthy works in a 2.0 version: broader, more creative, without losing its rough edge. The place works as a sequence: specialty coffee from 8am, drinks in the afternoon, cocktails and live music in the evening, a club downstairs until the early hours from Thursday to Saturday. That continuity is what makes it unusual: you can arrive alone with a laptop at 10am and still be there at midnight without having changed venue, or company. Open seven days a week.
