On Wednesday 4 November, Café Stalles on Nieuwe Binnenweg turns into a quiz room for committed know-it-alls and confident guessers. Teams of up to four work through changing rounds for bragging rights and a free evening: the winning team gets to tear up its full bill at the end. Pizza is €7.50, and the drinks list includes more than a hundred special beers. Entry is free, but the quiz regularly fills up, so register via Instagram or email. Find a team name, bring your best trivia and pay attention between rounds. A shared answer is a much easier opening than a rehearsed line.
