From 7 to 11 October, the 93rd Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre gives the 18th arrondissement the beat. Concerts, choirs, performances, talks and neighbourhood events unfold around the Clos Montmartre harvest. On Saturday, the traditional Ban des Vendanges and Grand Défilé take over the Butte, while the Parcours du Goût brings producers and artisans together around Sacré-Cœur. The festival closes on Sunday with a DJ-led ball at Square Louise Michel. It is the kind of outing where you can stop at a stand, follow a brass band or join the dance floor, and let the programme keep the conversation moving.
