For its 25th edition, Silhouette takes over the parc de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge from August 28th to September 5th. Free, no booking, no ticket. Each evening opens at 7:30pm with a concert by an emerging artist from the region, then at 9pm two hours of international short films go up on an inflatable screen. Daytime sessions cover documentaries, music videos and hybrid work, and there are open conversations between the audience and film professionals. The detail that changes the evening is the vote: every night the audience picks its favourite. A short film, unlike a feature, leaves everyone with a question rather than an ending — and the person on the blanket next to you didn't see the same thing you did. Some sessions also take place at the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin, in the 20th.
