On 7 and 8 November, AFROPUNK Brasil turns Salvador's Parque de Exposições into a space filled with music, fashion, art and culture. Jorja Smith, Emicida, Lazzo Matumbi, Gilberto Gil, Gaby Amarantos and Criolo are among the artists in a cross-generational line-up celebrating Black culture through different rhythms and languages. The crowd is part of the show too, with every outfit, dance and style expressing an individual way of being in the world. One of them will connect with yours. Arrive as yourself, take your space and notice who else does the same. In a festival where so many identities are expressed freely, people with their own light are easier to recognise.
