On 22 August, Abstract Festival turns the Mané Garrincha into something half dancefloor, half video game, half "I think I have walked into another universe and that is fine". For its 10th anniversary edition, the festival mixes electronic music, games, technology, sci-fi visuals, cyberpunk aesthetics and the feeling that the night arrived with a load of bonus levels unlocked. There is Illusionize, Amine Edge, Claudinho Brasil, HeyDoc, DJ Glen, Borman, arcade machines, projections, bass in your chest and enough floor to dance like you are heading for a secret level well past midnight. It is for getting a bit lost, enjoying the room, finding interesting people on the way and taking a chance on connections that start out random and then make complete sense.
