From September 11 to 19, the Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro reaches its 59th edition with more than 70 productions, including shorts, features, premieres, classics and special programmes. Cine Brasília is the main stage, but screenings also take place in other cultural spaces across the city. Wherever you are, audiences rarely stand up the moment the lights come on. There is always a comment, a question, a theory or the urge to ask the person nearby: 'did you understand it the same way I did?' There, we already have a first scene. Could it become a film?
