UX Researcher (M/F)

Within the Product team and under the supervision of our CPO and Lead Product Designer, you will be in charge of all user research topics in France and internationally.

Your missions :

  • You will participate in understanding happn’s users to create the best user experience on our product (on native apps and webapp)

  • You will be in charge of leading research projects to support the product, marketing, data and strategy teams  in the expression of user needs

  • You will analyse insights from our Research System

  • You will carry quantitative or qualitative studies to understand the uses, behaviours and expectations of BtoC users in their experience with happn (surveys, focus groups, user tests, co-creation workshops, 1/1 interviews...)

  • You will be part of testing prototypes organizations both before and after the development (Methodology, recruitment, tests, insight collection and analysis, reporting) to make sure the solutions that have been designed answer correctly the problem we identified

  • You will collaborate with other experts in the Design Factory (UX researchers, usage analysts, UX designers and UI designers)

  • You will realize ergonomic audits of existing designs (web and mobile interfaces)

Profil recherché

"It's a crush !" if :

  • You have minimum 4+ years of experience in conducting user research (ideally in a tech/product company)

  • Empathy is not just a buzzword for you but part of your DNA,

  • You have a strong team spirit, you are autonomous and a dedicated team player

  • When it comes to research, you represent a true evangelist and are able to communicate it globally

  • You are fluent in French and English to be able to conduct interviews in both languages

  • You adapt quickly to change and embrace it in the fast phase and agile environment

  • You can build trustworthy relationships with your co-workers, partners and customers

  • You know how to plan, analyze, synthesize, formulate and present your work in a clear and convincing way

It would be fantastic if you :

  • Take a step further and go beyond UX Design, in the sense of embodying happn's overall strategy in a BtoC user experience optimization approach

  • Determine the UX opportunities in the market

  • Already participated in the improvement of the business model

  • Are a strong advocate of analysis tools (hotjar, testapic, lookback, aircall etc)

  • Have experience in designing wireframes to validate your strategic choices

  • Are used to defining KPIs and managing the monitoring of metrics
